The 29th Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival

November 10, midnight

Virtual (314)-289-4150

The 29th Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF), an annual presentation of the nonprofit Cinema St. Louis (CSL), provides St. Louis filmgoers the opportunity to view the finest in world cinema — international films, documentaries, American indies, and shorts.

Due to COVID-19, CSL will partner with Eventive, an online screening platform, to present the festival virtually. To provide maximum access, the fest is extending its run from a week to eighteen days.

This year’s festival features special programs including The Divided City, Georgia Frontiere Cinema for Students Program, Human Rights Spotlight, Master Classes, New Filmmakers Forum, Race in America: The Black Experience, Show-Me Cinema, and SLIFF/Kids Family Films. In addition, recorded Q&As with filmmakers and/or documentary subjects will accompany many of the programs.
