On the heels of the announcement that Harvest will close its doors this Sunday, June 15, comes the news that two more restaurants are also going out of business. Tripel at 1801 Park Ave., in Lafayette Square is closing doors tomorrow, June 14. Manager Ty Schlabach confirmed that the Belgian brasserie will host its last dinner service Saturday. The restaurant will be open until 1:30 a.m. Tripel opened in June 2013 with a focus on classic Belgian fare and brews. Sauce reviewed Tripel in November 2013. Co-owners Jim Darst, Max Crask and Terry Oliver did not return immediate requests for comment. Another closing announced this week is Brazikat Brazilian Steak & Seafood House. As first reported by St. Louis Magazine’s George Mahe, the churrascaria, located in the old Luciano’s Trattoria space at 172 Carondelet Plaza in Clayton, has shuttered just after 18 months in business. Catherine Klene and Ligaya Figueras contributed to this report.
