The 3rd Annual Bourbon & Brews Festival, presented by the St. Louis Bourbon Society (SLBS), is slated for Saturday, June 15, at Frankie Martin’s Garden at 5372 St. Charles St. in Cottleville.
The event features both general admission and VIP ticket levels, both of which give access to explore the full 2.74-acre garden while sampling some of the 400 different bourbons, whiskeys and craft beers that will be available.
“With over 2,500 people in attendance last year, the festival exceeded our expectations,” said Andrew Chostner, co-founder of the SLBS, which was founded in 2016 and has grown to a group of more than 15,000 spirits enthusiasts. “We are excited to see what 2024 will bring.”
Bourbon and Brews is open from noon to 4 p.m. for general admission ticket holders, who will receive seven spirit sample tickets and seven beer sample tickets.
New this year is the VIP experience, which includes admission beginning one hour earlier at 11 a.m., a fast lane for checking in, specialty cocktails, and exclusive pours from select vendors, in addition to all GA benefits.
Another new element this year is the Whiskey House VIP ticket, which ups the ante with a private lounge inside Frankie Martin’s Whiskey House, complete with air conditioning, a private bathroom, plus more unique pours and craft cocktails.
“This festival brings two of St. Louis’ favorite things together in one experience,” said SLBS co-founder James Thomas. “Everyone knows St. Louis loves beer – this event shows just how much they love bourbon as well.”
There are also designated driver tickets available for those who wish to attend but not imbibe.
The Steve Ewing Band will keep the crowd grooving from noon to 4 p.m.
In addition, there will be an assortment of local food trucks offering a variety of cuisines to ensure there’s something for everyone.
A portion of proceeds benefits Feed The People, a nonprofit organization launched in 2008 by Steve Ewing, founder of Steve’s Hot Dogs and lead singer of The Urge, that donates meals to St. Louisans in need.
Please note that no pets are allowed. Tickets for this 21-and-up event are available online.
