Budweiser’s Backyard Event Celebrates The King of Beers and the St. Louis Community

In celebration of The King of Beers and the local communities where it’s brewed, the Budweiser Brewery Experience in St. Louis will host Budweiser’s Backyard on Saturday, June 30 for the St. Louis community. The event is complimentary and guests of all ages are invited to celebrate with food trucks featuring the foods America loves most, live music from country artists Kassi Ashton and Clare Dunn and freshly brewed Budweiser.

As part of this all-American celebration, Budweiser will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most burgers grilled at once. Dubbed “The Big Sizzle,” this special addition to Budweiser’s Backyard brings together 800 grillers to cook up history in the spot where Bud’s story first started. All particpants in The Big Sizzle will be able to enjoy the burgers they grill.

Throughout the event, guests can explore how the crisp, American-style lager is made with the highest quality ingredients by RSVPing for a complimentary, behind-the-scenes brewery tour.

Guests ages 21 and older can enjoy free samples during beer and food pairing demonstrations, and at 3 p.m., take part in an exclusive and timeless Budweiser tradition, with a brewmaster-led tasting of fresh Budweiser before it leaves the brewery.

They can also stay for a special toast at 4 p.m. to honor veterans with the newest Budweiser brew, the Budweiser Freedom Reserve Red Lager, which was specially brewed by Budweiser’s own veterans and builds on Budweiser’s long-standing support of the military. A portion of proceeds will benefit Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization providing educational scholarships to military families.

Guests can also see the Budweiser Clydesdale full hitch team parade and visit them in their stables to learn how the horses became an iconic symbol of Budweiser.
