Lemon Gem Kitchen Goods will close in The Grove
Lemon Gem Kitchen Goods at 4180 Manchester Ave., in The Grove will close at the end of September. The store opened almost two years ago, offering cooking supplies, equipment and artisanal kitchen goods.
Owner Beth Styles announced the closing today, Aug. 28, on social media:
“It’s a decision that was not made lightly, and we’re sad to close this chapter of our lives. But we’re proud of what we brought to The Grove, and will miss seeing the familiar faces we came to know and love, the conversations and the amazing recipes you all are always sharing by with us when you buy your kitchen tools. From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you.”
The post went on to say that starting Sept. 1, Lemon Gem will cut its days of operation to Thursday through Sunday, and the store’s remaining stock will be 20 percent off, with the discount increasing each week.
Styles did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
