7 St. Louis restaurants and bars celebrating Pride Month with specials and fundraisers

In honor of Pride Month this June, businesses around town are celebrating with special offerings with a portion of proceeds benefiting organizations that advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. Come out this month and show your support for our local queer community.

4 Hands Brewing Co.’s City Wide Pride
One of St. Louis’ favorite philanthropic beers, 4 Hands Brewing Co.’s City Wide, does a City Wide Pride can every June. From the purchase of every case, 4 Hands will donate $1 to Promo, an organization that “confronts systemic inequities to liberate the full spectrum of the LGBTQIA+ community from discrimination and oppression,” according to a release.

Art Bar at Angad Arts Hotel
At Art Bar, you can purchase a specialty cocktail created in collaboration with MTUG called the Magic Mule with a portion of proceeds benefiting MTUG’s efforts in education for the transgender community.

Hello Juice has teamed up with local drag queen Maxi Glamour to create the Maxi Smoothie with a portion of proceeds benefiting Trans Housing Initiative St. Louis, a trans-led organization committed to tackling systemic injustices in housing that transgender people face in the area. The smoothie features cold-pressed orange juice, coconut milk, blue spirulina, banana, cranberry, mango and passion fruit topped with edible glitter.

Neon Greens
Check out the Queer Food Fest from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, on the front patio of Neon Greens in the Grove. You can purchase tickets on-site that day to be redeemed for food and drink from local vendors – including Meredith Barry of Platypus and New Society, Mainlander, Fennel Cooking Studio and more – with a portion of proceeds benefiting SQSH.

Steve's Hot Dogs
For the month of June, Steve’s Hot Dogs is offering a special menu of three Pride-themed cocktails with $2 from each cocktail sold benefiting Promo. "PROMO Missouri is doing incredible legislative work locally and nationally to help protect the rights and freedoms of the LGTBQ population in Missouri,” " Danni Eickenhorst, co-owner of Steve's Hot Dogs, said in a release. “As an inclusive safe space employer, we believe there is no better way to support our staff and the LGBTQ+ community than by supporting their work.”
