Navin’s BBQ is closing its location off South Grand in Tower Grove East

Navin’s BBQ has announced, in a Sept. 27 Instagram post, that it is closing its doors. According to the post, the eatery will close its location at 3559 Arsenal St. at the end of business today, Thursday, Sept. 28. The post thanked the St. Louis community for its support, while also sharing that the business will be taking time to decide “what the future of Navin’s BBQ may be.”

Navin’s BBQ opened in 2021 and sells meat by the pound, including pulled chicken and pulled pork, sliced brisket and smoked turkey along with brisket and pork belly burnt ends. In addition, the menu features things like smoked wings, sandwiches and sides that include mac and cheese, mashed potato salad, collard greens and slaw.

If you’re unable to make it in for the last day of business at the Arsenal location, for now, you still have an opportunity to eat the smoked meats at a couple of other spots in the St. Louis area. The Instagram post detailed that despite closing the restaurant, Navin’s BBQ intends to keep its relationship with The Brothers Beer & Bourbon in Sunset Hills and Creve Coeur, and the BeerSauce Shop locations in Ballwin and St. Peters. The businesses serve smoked meats from the eatery and carry Navin’s BBQ rub.
